Welcome to Dream Life Farms
Dream Life Farms is a nonprofit group aiming to set up agriculture producing community gardens to teach people how to grow their own fruit and veggies organically and sustainably. We want to buy plots of land in suburban areas and engage the communities to learn how organic natural living and growing local can benefit us all. It will be a wonderful social learning experience where everyone can come together and meet new people and pick up some great skills while beautifying areas of their communities.
The food grown will be divided up amongst the community volunteers, shelters, low income families, and some sales at farmers markets to help us raise money for our continued efforts. The water used to grow the plants will be rain water from collection holding tanks on the properties, as much as possible, and all power will be generated by wind and solar. We will be a zero waste operation where everything possible will be recycled or made of recycled materials. All excess plant material will be composted and worked into the earth to fertilize the soil, and any fertilizers used will be all organic and natural.
